Ok So it's late and I have had too much wine tonight. I started blogging again with a great memories of a trip abroad and after playing around with Picasa a Google photo editing tool tonight I found these two photos that make me laugh so hard it hurts. Now you may not understand why, but these photos were taken in one of my best night's in Prague. Obviously there is beer and then ensue the hilarity.

You Belong in Paris

You enjoy all that life has to offer, and you can appreciate the fine tastes and sites of Paris.
You're the perfect person to wander the streets of Paris aimlessly, enjoying architecture and a crepe.

How Funny, I have been to Paris three times and I never get tired of it!

A Day of Change! A Day for Stress!

Well today is my last day at my job of almost three years. I am excited, nervous and a little scared to start my new job, but I know this is the best thing for me. I am extremely happy for the new opportunity, I am going to work for a Slabb a progressive self service company as their Sr. Project Manager so it's a step up and in the right direction but I think you always doubt yourself a little bit in times of high stress and change.

I wonder will I measure up to the ideal that they have in their minds? Is it going to be everything I suspect it will be or am I going to be blindsided that this is not the company that I thought it was. So many questions are running through my mind right now. Is it any wonder that we are a nation of stressed out people? We are actually getting sick from stress so I thought I would list out what some of the top stressful live events are:

1. Death of a spouse
2. Divorce
3. Marital separation
4. Death of a close family member
5. Marriage
6. Death of a close friend
7. Change to a different occupation
8. Change in number of arguments with spouse
9. Mortgage over 40,000
10.Change in responsibilities at work

I think we need to give ourselves a break! Look at this list above, I see 5 of the items that are effecting me right now, FIVE! How do we cope with this? If you think back to school these skills were never taught, maybe they are now but if not I think how to handle stress should be a mandatory class. So my rambling message for today is even though I am excited and grateful for the new opportunity that lays before me, how can one not be overcome with stress? I think I need to do some deep breathing and meditate!
